Most homes fall between $200 and $475. Typical two-story colonial runs about $275. Final price depends on home height, gutter footage, debris load, and access. Every quote is firm and in writing before any work starts.

Three Real Jobs With Real Numbers

Single-Story Ranch — ~140 LF — Light Debris $185

Single-story home, walkable roof, clear access on all elevations, light seasonal debris load, recently cleaned. The simplest profile we see regularly. In and out fast. Price reflects that.

Two-Story Colonial — ~200 LF — Moderate Debris $275

Standard two-story home, normal oak and maple leaf accumulation, typical access. This is the most common job we run across Connecticut. Most homeowners getting a quote land close to this number.

Two-Story With Third-Floor Dormer Access — Heavy Oak Debris — Last Cleaned 2+ Years Ago $450

Dormer sections requiring additional ladder repositioning. Compacted debris throughout from heavy oak overhang and an extended gap since the last cleaning. Downspout flush and unclogging required on two downspouts. More time, more difficulty, higher price. Still within our standard range for this level of job.

What Moves the Price Up

Third-floor or dormer-level gutter sections.

Getting equipment and crew to upper-level sections takes more time and repositioning. That time is in the price.

Heavy debris from oak, pine, or maple overhang.

Packed wet leaves and pine needles take significantly longer to clear than light seasonal accumulation. A house under a full oak canopy is not the same job as a house with one tree nearby.

More than 18 months since last cleaning.

Debris compacts over multiple seasons. Compacted wet debris is harder to move, slower to clear, and more likely to have caused secondary problems worth inspecting closely.

Gutter guards installed.

We clean both the guard surface and the gutter channel underneath. That is two passes on every run. The price reflects the additional work, not a surcharge for something you paid for already.

Steep or non-walkable roof pitches.

Anything we cannot safely walk requires a different setup. We handle it, but it takes longer.

Detached garages or outbuildings on the same visit.

A separate structure is a separate run of gutters. If you want it cleaned on the same visit, we price it accordingly. Most homeowners find it worth doing together.

Downspout flushing or unclogging.

A standard flush is included in every visit. If a downspout is blocked inside the pipe and we need to clear it, that is additional time and it is reflected in the price.

What Moves the Price Down

Single-story home with a walkable roof and open access on all elevations. Recently cleaned with a light debris load. Minimal canopy with low seasonal accumulation. Clear downspout flow that does not require additional flushing.

Simple jobs get simple prices. We do not pad quotes because we can.

If the Job Is Easier Than the Quote, We Lower the Price on the Spot

Most contractors quote a price and hold it regardless of what the job actually turns out to be. CT GutterPro does not operate that way. If we show up at your property and the job is less involved than what we estimated, we lower the price before we start. You only pay for what the work actually requires.

This is not a marketing line. It is how we have worked since 1986. Ask any customer who has used us more than once.

How to Get a Firm Written Quote

We cannot give you an accurate price from a single photo of one gutter. The quote depends on what we can see on all four elevations, the roof height, access conditions, and what the gutters actually look like end to end.

Two ways to get a firm written quote, both are equal options:

Call us at (475) 286-8063. We answer the phone. Tell us about your home and we will give you a range or schedule a site visit, whichever makes more sense.

Text photos of all elevations to (475) 286-8063. Front, back, both sides, and any problem areas you already know about. We will send you a firm written quote in 15 minutes.

One photo of one gutter does not get you a number back. All elevations or nothing. That is not us being difficult. That is us making sure the quote we give you is actually accurate.

What Is Included in Every CT GutterPro Gutter Cleaning

Complete debris removal by hand and blower from every gutter run. Full downspout flush from roof connection to ground discharge to confirm clear flow. Pitch and hanger integrity check across every section. Inspection for cracks, open seams, and separated joints. Fascia board condition check behind the gutter line. A written report of every issue found with honest recommendations.

Minor issues found during the visit such as a loose hanger or an open seam joint are addressed the same day at no additional charge. If something more significant comes up, we tell you clearly and give you a separate price before any additional work begins. Nothing gets added to your bill without your approval.

Frequently Asked Questions About Gutter Cleaning Cost in Connecticut

  • How much does gutter cleaning cost in Connecticut?

Most Connecticut homes fall between $200 and $475. A typical two-story colonial runs about $275. Final price depends on home height, linear footage, debris load, access conditions, and time since the last cleaning. Every CT GutterPro quote is firm and in writing before any work starts.

  • Do you lower the price if the job is easier than expected?

Yes. If we arrive at your property and the job is less involved than what we quoted, we lower the price before we start. Most contractors do not do this. We do.

  • What do you need to give me an accurate quote?

Photos of all four elevations of your home, front, back, and both sides, plus any areas with known problems. Text them to (475) 286-8063 and we will send a firm written quote in 15 minutes. One photo of one gutter does not get a number back.

  • What is included in a gutter cleaning visit?

Every visit includes complete debris removal from all gutter runs, a full downspout flush to confirm clear flow, a pitch and hanger integrity check, an inspection for cracks and separated seams, a fascia condition check, and a written report of any issues found. We inspect while we clean.

  • How often should my Connecticut home have its gutters cleaned?

Most Connecticut homes need cleaning twice per year. Once in late spring after cottonwood and pollen season, once in late fall after oak and maple leaves are fully down. Homes under heavy canopy may benefit from a third cleaning in late summer. Homes with quality gutter guards installed typically need one cleaning per year.

  • Why does the price vary so much between homes?

Because the job varies that much between homes. A single-story ranch with clear access and light debris is a fundamentally different job than a two-story with dormer sections, heavy oak overhang, and gutters that have not been touched in three years. The price reflects the actual work required, not a flat rate applied regardless of difficulty.
